A whole bunch of stuff going on recently, mostly in the world of audio post. I recently did audio post for 5 on-location episodes of Last Call with Carson Daly for NBC, which aired from March 2nd to the 6th, with some great feedback from Carson and the Last Call producers. Had a lot of fun with that one.
Having completed that, I've signed on to mix a season of Passport to Explore, a new kids travel series, and that will keep me quite busy for the next month or two. I'm also continuing work on the music and sound for another travel series No Brakes, Go, which is definitely NOT aimed at kids.

Lots of sound design work recently. Since my last update I've worked on 3 video game projects and two short films. I'm just about to get the first few episodes of the Baja travel show to edit, those should be finished by the end of the month. Till then, you can watch a trailer
here.

LA!
I've taken the big step, switched things up, and headed to Los Angeles to pursue music and sound. My contact info has been updated to reflect this change. My deepest thanks to everyone who's helped me with this transition, your support means the world to me. Since arriving I've already helped out with audio on a feature, and plan for much more to come.

Update
An upcoming project will have me working with cinematographer
Barry Stone on his new documentary. I've also added a sound video game sound design demo, along with more new music.

New Tunes
I added three new tracks today, all more or less rock. My recent projects seem to focus on this type of stuff, so why not?

Hello again! I've completed the sound design work for
Valentine's Day, which will be premiering tomorrow night at the Delancy Street Theater in San Francisco. On the audio front, I'm recording and editing radio spots for the non-profit Celebrate! Radio Network, mastering benefit CDs for the
Streetcats Foundation, and working on several new music pieces. One of these, the theme song for the travel series, "No Brakes, Go!", can be heard on the music page.

Since my last update, I have continued working on a MIDI control device (on and off), while continuing to score projects. Just this week, I finished the score for
Valentine's Day, my third film with director Jim Breen. I'm now tasked with completing the sound design for the film, and overseeing a final mixing session in December.

Summer rolls along, and after a lot of travel in June and July, I've settled back into work. At the moment I'm helping Canyon Creations, a South San Francisco-based toy company, with a large audio editing project. I've also become involved with building sounds and writing music for a new type of MIDI controller based around biofeedback. Interesting, no?

I have quite a few projects now in the works: I'm scoring another documentary which could arrive shortly, writing the trailer music for a Sci-Fi feature now in post-production, plus I'm doing the music for a website, and the sound editing for another documentary. Between all of these I've found the time to write a few pieces for just for fun. Expect some new music clips up on the site soon.

At the moment, I'm writing music for a large stage show being produced for CitiFinancial by
FishEye Media. The theme of the production is the elemental forces of Earth, Air, Water and Fire. To stress this idea, the entire score has a Native American focus, with a few of my own stylistic conceits. It's been a ton of fun to write so far and I'm very pleased with the results.

The website is up and running! My appreciation goes to
Jason Buckley for creating the site during the busy holiday season. Thanks, Jason! Right now I'm finishing up work on a documentary with the
Hoi An Foundation, a non-profit organization that helps support and care for orphans in Vietnam. While I'm tasked with writing the majority of the music, I'm also functioning as Music Supervisor. I encourage you to check out their site and see some of the great work going on over there. Happy Holidays!
